World Villa Awards recognises excellence in villas, villa resorts, villa destinations and specialist services. It is part of the World Travel Awards family.
What is the difference between a villa and a villa resort category?
A villa category focuses on a particular villa or home. A villa resort category considers the named resort and its villa offering. The description on each category page explains its scope.
Can a property appear in more than one category?
Yes, where it meets the scope of each category. Each nomination is shown separately with its category and year.
How can I suggest a property?
Contact the Awards team with the official name, location, website and the category you believe is relevant. An enquiry does not confirm a nomination.
Can I vote?
Public voting is not currently open on this website. Any public voting programme will have its own published rules and dates.
Where can I find the nominees?
Approved nominations appear in the nominee directory and on their category pages. Names are listed alphabetically, not in rank order.
Where can I find the winners?
Winners are published in the winners directory following the official announcement. Nominee status does not mean a property has won.
Does nomination mean a property has been inspected?
No. Awards recognition is not certification, accreditation or a guarantee of a stay. Contact the property directly about its facilities, accessibility, availability and booking conditions.
Can I book a villa through this website?
The website provides information about the Awards. Use the property's official website to make a booking or enquiry. Your booking arrangements are with the relevant provider.
Can nominees use the World Villa Awards logo or shield?
Only authorised assets may be used, and the category, year and nominee or winner status must be accurate. Contact the Awards team for guidance.
